I love to try different lipwear options. Growing up I started wearing Bonne Belle Lip Smacker . It came in different colors and flavors. The different flavors smelled delicious. They made you want to eat your chapstick. When I first started wearing lip balm, it was all my mother would allow me to wear. I wasn’t even allowed to wear lipgloss. Lip Smacker was so much fun to wear. My friends and I would bring our lip balm to school and see who had which flavor. It was fun and we thought we were cool.
Now that I am an adult, I can wear lip balm, lipgloss, or lipstick. Sometimes I wear a combination. I thought it would be fun to share my favorite types of lipwear with you and I would love for you to share yours with me, too!
My nail polish collection is seriously out of this world. I have every color for every occasion. At least, I feel like I do until I make my way to Sephora and find that OPI has released new colors. When I get my nails done, I tend to take my polish with me. I almost always have a color choice made up in my mind and I don’t want to take the risk of the salon not having my color. Plus, I have all of this nail polish at home. Why not use it, right?! I select my nail color based on the season or the holiday.
I think I have more red lipsticks in my collection than any other color. Probably because just about anyone can rock a red lip. Cleaning your makeup brushes is so important. Dirty brushes can cause damage to your skin. Most brushes can be cleaned once a month, however, concealer and foundation brushes should be cleaned once a week to prevent buildup. The cleaner, the better. Brushes that are used around your eyes should be cleaned at least two times per month.
