Cleaning your makeup brushes is so important. Dirty brushes can cause damage to your skin. Most brushes can be cleaned once a month, however, concealer and foundation brushes should be cleaned once a week to prevent buildup. The cleaner, the better. Brushes that are used around your eyes should be cleaned at least two times per month.
